Description
The St Johnston & Carrigans Resource Group in conjunction with the North Western Health Board (now HSE) engaged MH Associates to design a new Resource Centre. The new build 531.76m2 Resource Centre incorporates General Purposes Hall with stage, 2 no. Crèche facilities, Meeting Room, Offices, Toilet Facilities, Kitchen Facilities, Doctor’s Surgery, Reception area and Practice Nurse facility.
The project was part funded by the Fund for Peace and Reconciliation and the National Lottery. Site works began in July 1999 and was fully complete in May 2000. The building quickly proved popular with the local community and is now a busy, bustling centre for children and adults alike.
